FEATURED PROJECTS

The famous Chateau Montelena family, subject of the Bottle Shock movie, has been a client since the late 70's and we have remodeled the Tasting Rooms, Office Building, private Residence, and Lab Buildings on their property. Most recently we completed a Seismic Retrofit of the historic Winery Cellar to protect the structure and upgrade the winemaking equipment. The winery is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places where it belongs.

Lions Head Cellar, housed the original large format fermentation tanks that The Hess Collection inherited from the Christian Brothers. On August 24, 2014, the cellar was devastated by the Napa earthquake and required a major remodel. Now the facility has been completely transformed into a “state of the art” boutique winery for producing luxury wines. One large format tank remains to help tell the story of this Cellar's rebirth, of changes in winemaking, of a natural disaster that had a large impact on our community.

This all new winery facility for renowned Williams Selyem Winery in Healdsburg was completed in 2010 as a collaboration with a New York design firm. The 30,000 square foot winery includes hospitality spaces for visitors, administrative offices and production space for bottling, blending and wine storage. The striking building has received a handful of design awards
